Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP I have an in-depth knowledge of how cognitive and linguistic development from birth can impact later academic achievement. As such, I am uniquely positioned to support not just learning but also the underlying language areas that influence learning. 

Literacy & Dyslexia Spexialist I’ve completed coursework and practicum towards recognition from the Orton Gillingham Academy and International Dyslexia Association.

Doctoral Student I am working towards completing my Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) My research explores language, literacy, multisensory learning, and culturally sustaining practices.

Adjunct Professor I’m an adjunct lecturer and clinical educator in graduate courses on dyslexia and structured literacy.

Teacher Prior to the founding of Manhattan Speech, Language, & Literacy, I spent over a decade working in public schools. I hold a teaching license and two administrative licenses with New York State.

NYC Parent I live in Brooklyn Heights with my husband and 3-year-old daughter. As both a parent and professional, I have a distinctive understanding of the city’s learning landscape, culture, and expectations
